Croatia Cruises in September

If you’re thinking about booking one of the Croatia cruises in September, you should know this is one of the best months to visit this country. Considered a “shoulder season,” like May and June when you can enjoy all the attractions without the crowds, September may be even better, with few rainy days and temperatures often idyllic. The average high this month is just about perfect, at around 77 degrees. Sea temperatures will still be warm, ideal for swimming too with the water heating up for several months now. Instead of crowded streets and restaurants, you’ll often find a much more livable atmosphere, yet there is still plenty going on, like Zagreb’s Food Film Festival which runs from 10 days around the middle of the month. The later you plan to go on your cruise in September, the less crowded the sights are likely to be, with the number of tourists significantly decreasing.
