MV Memories is a 53m (174 ft) long, 8.6m (28 ft) wide ‘Signature’ cruise ship, with a speed of nine nautical miles per hour. The ship is brand-new, was launched in 2020, and features the latest equipment and amenities. The ship has a maximum capacity of 38 passengers in 19 twin or double cabins, ensuring exceptional personal service. Begin your luxury cruise and land adventure in the romantic city of Venice. Our private driver will meet you at Venice airport and he will transfer you by private speedboat to your hotel in Venice. You will have the afternoon at leisure to explore Venice. You might want to wander through Dorsoduro, an ideal neighbourhood on the south-west side of town, filled with canals and art museums while offering the chance to experience the authentic side of Venice away from the tourist crowds. You might shop at Calle Sant’Agnese and browse the art at Gallerie dell’Accademia.
Today you’ll meet our expert local guide at iconic St. Mark’s Square for this tour that will give you a taste of what Venice has to offer. As you explore the sights, you’ll learn more about the history and other interesting tidbits about what you’re seeing from your guide. Start by admiring the impressive gothic-style Doge’s Palace and then visit the famous Bridge of Sighs which connects the place to what once was a prison. Continue your tour by marveling at the clock and bell towers that are part of the cathedral adjacent to the Loggetta, and the Marciana Library. Next, your guide will lead you on a stroll through the narrow, winding streets of the city to the Grand Canal and the Rialto area known for its bustling markets and the monumental bridge that crosses the canal.
Today you will enjoy a private transfer from Venice to the magical town of Rovinj on the Istrian Peninsula. You will arrive in Rovinj in the early afternoon, giving you the opportunity to check in and then spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the charming town of Rovinj. The town is fully pedestrianized and full of narrow cobbled streets, colorful houses, gorgeous town squares, art galleries and charming bars and restaurants which overlook the sea front. Spend the afternoon soaking up the towns wonderful atmosphere before enjoying dinner on your own. We suggest trying La Puntulina which offers delicious meals and stunning sunset views.
Discover the delights of the spectacular Istrian region of Croatia on this fascinating gastronomy adventure. You will visit two of the most idyllic and ancient hill top communities in Croatia. First, Groznjan with its breath-taking panoramic vistas, enjoy time to savor the views and walk between numerous galleries and shops. Continue to Motovun, arguably Istria’s most beautiful hill top town. During the tour you will be welcomed to two high-end wineries, enjoying tastings in each accompanied by delectable local snacks.
An exciting day awaits as you’ll travel to one of the most popular attractions in Croatia today. Say goodbye to the Istrian Peninsula behind and say hello to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Our private driver will pick you up shortly after an early breakfast and he will drive you to the Plitvice Lakes. You will have time to check in and grab a bite to eat before heading out to explore this magnificent national park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its 16 linked lakes in a myriad of shades ranging from brilliant turquoise to deep emerald and countless magnificent waterfalls, have frequently been splashed across the Internet as “viral images.” You’ll get to walk across the wooden bridges and along the scenic paths surrounded by lush greenery for an up-close look at its grandeur.
After breakfast our private driver will pick you up from your hotel in the lakes and he drive you to the city of Split. You will arrive in Split around midday. You may want to enjoy lunch on your own on Split’s picturesque promenade before exploring the city at your leisure.
You will be picked up from your hotel today and transferred to your ship to begin your cruise. With check in from 2pm onwards, you will have time to relax in your cabin or meet your fellow guests before joining a guided tour of the beautiful historical town of Split. Split is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and boasts an abundance of classic Roman architecture, which includes the splendid Diocletian Palace. After your tour, you will return to the boat and enjoy the evening with a three course welcome dinner and welcome speech from the crew where they will go through the plan for your week on board.
We’ll set sail this morning, heading toward charming medieval town of Trogir. This UNESCO listed gem with its pristine marina is often compared to a mini-Venice. On route to Trogir the captain will find a secluded spot for you to enjoy the first swim stop of your cruise from the back of the boat. On arrival, we have a fabulous trip to the stunning Krka Waterfalls National Park planned. Enjoy the afternoon admiring the beautiful waterfalls and lakes and stroll along pathways winding through the lush flora. Enjoy a picturesque photo stop in front of the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfall. Return to Trogir in the early evening where you will have free time to enjoy dinner on your own and explore the labyrinth of backstreets and medieval alleyways in this hidden gem.
This morning as guests are enjoying breakfast, our boat will set off from Trogir and head to the gorgeous island of Vus. On route the captain will find a quiet bay so guests can enjoy a refreshing swim stop. We will arrive into Vis in the mid-afternoon. We don’t have any excursions scheduled for today, so it gives on board guests the opportunity to explore Vis at their leisure. The island was once used as a military base and for many years it was out of bounds to tourists, so it has maintained a beautiful off the beaten track feel about it. We suggest taking a walk up to Fort George which offers incredible sunset views and the perfect spot for a cocktail or two.
This morning we depart early from Vis so we can reach the nearby Island of Bisevo, which is home to the magical Blue Cave. Weather permitting, guests will enjoy an optional guided tour inside this beautiful natural cave which emits beautiful colors and is very special. (Entry to the Blue Cave is subject to weather and sea conditions and therefore the entry fee of EUR20pp is payable on the day). After the Blue Cave, we will continue our journey through the beautiful Pakleni island archipelago, with a swim in this stunning secluded bay on route. We will arrive on Hvar Island in the afternoon, with an afternoon Hvar Island tour planned. The first stop on this interesting tour is a family winery where guests will get to sample a variety of locally produced wines and snacks. We then continue on to the chic town of Hvar, where you will have free time to explore this picturesque town at your leisure.
We will set off during breakfast today and make our way to the Island of Korcula. On route, our captain will do a scenic sail past one of Croatia’s most sought after beaches, the Golden Horn Beach, known in Croatia as Zlatni Rat. We will then continue our journey on to the medieval town of Korcula, where we will have a swim stop in the afternoon before we arrive. Once docked, join our cruise director and our experienced local guide who will take you through the narrow, cobbled streets to discover the stunning Venetian-gothic architecture and where you will get to learn more about the alleged birthplace of explorer Marco Polo. You will also get to understand the unique fishbone layout of the streets. This evening, you have a choice of dinner in one of Korcula’s many delicious restaurants or speak to our cruise director about doing our optional Traditional Village Dinner experience.
Today we depart early to visit the tranquil and stunning Mljet National Park. On arrival, our cruise director will take you for a stroll to visit the famous salt lakes, situated in the heart of this tranquil national park. We sail on to the charming village of Slano, situated on the mainland. It is a peaceful traditional fishermen’s village and the entrance point to Ston, another small fortified village that is famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts, we will take you to an oyster farm, where you will have the opportunity to sample delicious fresh oysters. The evening is reserved for the Captain’s Farewell Dinner on board, with live music and entertainment.
On the final day of your cruise, we will depart early to Dubrovnik. The ancient city boasts many historical buildings that date back to the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. We will take a cruise along the walls of the old Dubrovnik city centre. You will join a guided walking tour of this magnificent city with an expert local guide with free time to explore the old town at your leisure afterwards. Tonight we suggest you enjoy a delicious meal in one of a wonderful array of excellent restaurants available within the city walls.
Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when sharing so many memorable experiences, but after breakfast it will be time for farewells to the captain, crew and new friends made as you take private transfer to your onward hotel or Dubrovnik Airport.
