The MV Katarina made her maiden voyage in 2019, providing the opportunity to sail on a deluxe small ship, enjoying a luxurious experience shared with a small group of like-minded passengers. Sleek and yacht-like, she turns heads while being able to access small harbors, ports, and islets, to reach some of the best destinations in all of Croatia.
The deluxe MV Katarina was launched in 2019 with the latest in state-of-the-art technology and modern amenities to provide passengers with the utmost in safety and comfort. While she’s large enough to host a number of desirable facilities like a Jacuzzi and a spacious restaurant, she’s small enough to reach all the ports throughout Croatia’s spectacular islands and coast. With a maximum capacity of 38 passengers, she guarantees an uncrowded, tranquil environment and exceptional service for every guest.
Cabins
Accommodating up to 38 guests, the MV Katarina hosts 19 en-suite cabins, with 11 on the upper deck that includes two windows for enjoying the fresh Mediterranean air and endless sea views. Other cabins include portholes, and all have independent ventilation systems for a continuous flow of fresh air along with independently controlled air-conditioning. Other features include wardrobes, satellite TVs, safes, and a PA system to ensure captain and cruise director announcements are heard. Each cabin is en-suite, with a toilet, sink, shower, and hairdryer, and includes the latest safety equipment like a fireproof door, fire alarm, smoke detector, and lifejackets.
Facilities & Public Areas
When passengers aren’t out exploring, life on the ship is generally focused on the sundeck, filled with luxurious loungers, deck chairs, and a hot tub, in the elegant dining room that has a bar area and bi-screen TV, or the covered outdoor lounge which has tables and comfortable couches. From many vantage points throughout the ship, guests are surrounded by awe-inspiring Adriatic views, including the glistening turquoise sea, lush islands, and the breathtaking Dalmatian coast. When it’s time for a swim stop, there’s a swimming platform at the rear of the ship for easy access to those enticing waters.
Dining
Look forward to enjoying delicious Croatian fare in traditional eateries on land and mouthwatering freshly prepared meals on the ship, served on a half-board basis. That includes an extensive breakfast buffet and three-course set lunches, as well as some dinners as specified in the itinerary. There’s no need to pack formal attire as well are served in a relaxed, casual setting. Cocktails, wine, beer, and soft drinks can be purchased at the bar, payable at the end of the trip, while complimentary filtered water, coffee, and tea are available every day of the cruise.
