This enchanting 9-night journey starts with some free time in Split. Enjoy accommodation in a 4- or 5-star hotel in Split before sailing the Southern Dalmatian Coast in a luxurious yacht-like ship with your overnights spent in a spacious, en-suite cabin. Conclude with a night in an elegant Dubrovnik hotel while enjoying the opportunity for a two-in-one, a visit to neighboring Montenegro. Your adventure from the ancient city of Split to magical Dubrovnik will take you to many fabulous gems in between. You’ll embark on exciting tours led by expert local guides everywhere from Split, to storybook Korcula and Dubrovnik’s Old City. Look forward to a variety of tasting experiences and opportunities to sample local fare in the ports visited.
The MS Adris is a 50m (164 ft) long cruise ship, which was built in 2018. The ship features 19 spacious main deck and lower deck cabins which accommodate up to 38 on board the guests. The vessel features a spacious sun deck with a splash pool. It also has an elegant dining area and outdoor lounge area perfect for socializing.
Upon arrival at Split’s airport, our driver will be waiting to welcome you and provide a private transfer to your luxury hotel in the city’s Old Town. After check-in, take time to settle in and refresh with the rest of the afternoon enjoyed at your leisure. We recommend soaking up the atmosphere of the incredible 4th-century Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace which covers much of the historic center, Stroll the ancient streets and alleyways lined with some of the world’s most well-preserved Roman architecture. Many of the buildings now house unique shops, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants providing even more to explore. Enjoy an alfresco dinner here along the seaside Riva promenade before returning to your accommodation for the evening.
Today is cruise embarkation day but you’ll enjoy the morning at your leisure. When it’s time, your private driver will transfer you to your deluxe ship in Split’s harbor. Enjoy a welcome drink with snacks and then get settled into your cabin, with check-in available anytime from 1 pm on. Join an intriguing tour that reveals Split’s incredible historic center, nearly half of which is covered by the over 1,700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace, built as the retirement residence for the Roman emperor. Stroll the maze of streets and alleyways with your guide, marveling at the amazingly well-preserved Roman architecture. Return in time for the 7 pm welcome meeting where you’ll be officially introduced to the captain and crew, given an overview of the week ahead, and enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a three-course dinner.
We set sail whilst guests are enjoying breakfast towards the beautiful Old Town of Trogir. Before our arrival though it’s time for your first swim stop of this trip in a quiet secluded bay. You will enjoy lunch on board before arriving in Trogir and docking directly in the town’s picturesque harbor. Enjoy the afternoon exploring this wonderful UNESCO-listed town which is often compared to Venice with its medieval streets, magnificently preserved castle, and beautiful marina.
We bid farewell to Trogir this morning as our boat departs from Trogir and sets sail to the islands. Our first island stop on this cruise is also one of the most unique. Today we are heading to the charming Island of Vis, which was previously a Yugoslavian military base and was therefore for decades out of reach of tourists. This isolation has helped the island and its residents maintain its old world charm, which you will see when you arrive. Before we arrive in Vis, you will enjoy a refreshing swim stop in the Adriatic as the captain finds a quiet bay. When we arrive in Vis, you will have the late afternoon free to take a stroll along its picturesque marina or sample some of its pretty little cafes. Those of you who fancy a walk, take the 25 minute walk up to Fort George and enjoy a choice of cocktails and simply breathtaking sunset views.
This morning as the sunrises our boat will depart from Vis and set sail for the nearby Island of Bisevo. This tiny little island is home to one of Croatia’s biggest natural phenomenon’s the magnical Blue Cave. Weather permitting we will get a chance to enter the cave and see why this has become one of Croatia’s top tourist destinations. (Entry to the Blue Cave is subject to weather and sea conditions and therefore the entry fee of EUR20pp is payable on the day). From the Blue Cave, we will make our way sailing through the Pakleni island archipelago, which is made up of dozens of islands and islets with stunning turquoise bays. Our captain will find a suitable swim stop for guests to enjoy this wonderfully clear water. We will arrive on Hvar Island in the afternoon, with a fascinating Hvar Island tour planned. The first stop on this tour is an opportunity for you to sample locally wines and snacks at a very sought after family run winery. After sampling the local wines, we will head to the chic town of Hvar, which is where guests will have time at leisure to visit this magnificent town and explore its pretty streets.
This morning we depart during breakfast and head to the Island of Korcula, which is the famed birthplace of explorer Maro Polo. On route, our captain will take us for a scenic sail past one of Europe’s most picturesque beaches, the Golden Horn Beach or otherwise known as Zlatni Rat in Croatia. After lunch, we will find a secluded spot nearer to Korcula where guests will have an opportunity to swim before we arrive in Korcula. Once we are docked in Korcula, join our Cruise Director and expert local guide for a fascinating tour of this impressive medieval town. Venture through the towns narrow, cobbled streets and see how its become known as a mini-Dubrovnik with its unique Venetian-gothic architecture. In the evening, you will be spoilt for choice with lots of fantastic restaurants or the ability to do our optional Traditional Village Dinner experience.
Our first stop today is one of Croatia’s greenest islands, Mljet. We’ll anchor just outside the entrance to Mljet National Park so that you can take the short walk to its famous saltwater lakes in dazzling hues of blues and greens. Enjoy lunch on board as we cruise onto the tranquil fishing village of Slano on the mainland. This is a gateway to the nearby fortified village of Ston, famous for its oysters, said to be some of the best in the world thanks to the high concentration of salt and other minerals in the water. Enjoy a tasting of fresh oysters and mussels at an oyster farm with this evening reserved for the Captain’s Dinner with live music and entertainment.
We’ll depart early this morning with the final day of our cruise bringing us to Dubrovnik with its many medieval landmarks. Before disembarking, we’ll sail around the historic center’s towering stone walls for a perspective of the Old City from the water. Once on land, you’ll join our local guide for a walking tour where you’ll marvel at centuries-old buildings like the Gothic-Renaissance Rector’s Palace. We recommend a farewell meal with a sea and sunset view in the of the many outstanding rooftop eateries.
Today’s agenda is all up to you – take the day to explore Dubrovnik at your leisure, perhaps a ride on the cable car to the summit of Mount Srd for a bird’s-eye view over the city and the sparkling sea or kayaking over to nearby Lokrum Island.

This very popular private tour includes a visit to Kotor’s medieval Old Town, surrounded by massive defensive walls that stretch for 2.5 miles, while home to picturesque squares, lovely churches, and grand palaces dating between the 15th and 18th centuries. You will also visit the pristine seaside town of Perast to see the famous Our Lady of the Rocks.
Your trip comes to an end this morning but if you aren’t ready to go, our travel experts will be happy to help you extend your hotel stay if you’d like to spend more time in Dubrovnik. Otherwise, your driver will meet you at your hotel for a private transfer to Dubrovnik’s airport.
