About MS Markan

The luxury Markan small-cruise ship was built in 2018 with state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. She’s 161-feet-long, 28-feet-wide and has a cruising speed of nine nautical miles per hour with a maximum capacity of 38 passengers that guarantees are more intimate experience for all passengers.

Cabins

Each cabin is en-suite and comes equipped with an audio system for announcements by the tour director or captain. Each one offers indoor passage access to the restaurant and bar area, with the exception of two main deck cabins that are connected by the deck. Cabins also include life jackets, fire alarms, emergency lights, safe deposit boxes, small sofas, nightstands, wardrobes, desks and porthole windows. All are en-suite, with a toilet, sink, shower and hair dryer.

Facilities and Public Areas

The Markan offers lots of indoor and outdoor space for guests to roam as well as easy access to refreshing dips in the water via the rear platform with ladders. There are also two outdoor showers and two deck lavatories. The upper deck is ideal for sunbathing with enough loungers for every passenger, along with a shaded area and a Jacuzzi. The main deck includes a restaurant and bar area with LCD TV as well as a covered outdoor lounge with comfortable seating. Free Wi-Fi is available onboard as well.

Dining

The large air-conditioned dining room features five round tables that provides seating for all passengers in a casual, informal setting with no formal dress code required. Half-board meals, including a buffet-style breakfast and six set lunches with four courses daily are served. All guests also enjoy a welcome cocktail along with a liter of free bottled water and fresh fruit each day. The bar serves a selection of beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks for purchase, with tabs payable at the end of the excursion.
