This intimate island-hopping cruise allows you to sail in comfort while experiencing an ideal mix of some of the most popular destinations like Santorini and Mykonos along with more off-the-beaten-path hidden gems, such as Kimolos and Milos. You’ll enjoy a laid-back atmosphere for relaxing and socializing with delicious fresh meals on board and opportunities to sample local cuisine on a different island every evening. Look forward to soaking up the sun from the expansive deck, relaxing in the Jacuzzi under the stars, indulging in pampering spa treatments, and taking part in all sorts of activities from cooking classes to yoga.
While she might look like an ordinary vessel from a distance, the Elysium is sure to impress from the moment you step on board. Designed to provide an intimate experience with personalized individual attention, she hosts up to just four dozen guests and has a wealth of modern amenities.
The Elysium will be waiting in the port of Lavrio with boarding between 2 pm and 3 pm. Check-in with a smile and a welcome drink before our departure at 4 pm. We’ll sail to Cape Sounion where you’ll be able to take advantage of the sparkling sapphire waters during the first swim stop. The cape is famous for the Temple of Poseidon which sits on a headland surrounded by the sea on three sides. Get your cameras ready and relax on deck before leaping in and then enjoy our welcome dinner on board this evening. We’ll cruise to Mykonos while you enjoy a peaceful night’s rest.
Continuing toward Mykonos, we’ll visit the UNESCO-listed site of Delos nearby first. An optional excursion will reveal the incredible ruins in this archaeological site, one of the best in all of Greece. That includes temples, a theater, mosaics, statues, and remarkably well-preserved Venetian and Byzantine architecture. We’ll arrive at Mykonos in the mid-afternoon just after a swim stop, and you’ll have the remainder of the day to explore on your own. You might visit the famous windmills in Little Venice or shop the upscale boutiques before sitting down for dinner at one of the many outstanding eateries in Mykonos Town.
This morning we’ll cruise to Naxos, with a swim stop en route. Enjoy lunch on board with arrival to the island in mid-afternoon. While the island is renowned for its white powdery sand beaches, it’s also quite mountainous with charming traditional mountain villages that are a delight to explore. An optional excursion will take you to visit some of them, including Apiranthos with its breathtaking views. It was built into the slopes of Mount Fanari, amphitheatrical style, and seems as if it was frozen in medieval times. Stroll the marble-paved streets while you learn about its history. Back in Naxos Town, enjoy dinner independently.
As Naxos fades away, we’ll be sailing toward Koufonisia, with a swim stop this morning on the tranquil island of Schinoussa just south. Spared from much development with just a small population, it’s known for its beautiful clear turquoise waters that are ideal for swimming. We’ll reach our final destination in mid-afternoon. Koufonisia is home to a half-dozen beaches and lots of magnificent scenery along with plenty of enticing venues for enjoying everything from mojitos to Greek salads. Just about everything is within a short walking distance, making it easy to find a spot to savor the island’s delicious authentic flavor on your own this evening.
This morning as we cruise toward Santorini, we’ll make a swim stop at Magganari Beach on Ios Island, an ideal stretch for a dip with clear, shallow waters and soft golden sands. Once back on board, enjoy lunch before arriving in Santorini at about 2 pm. An optional excursion can bring you to the Akrotiri archaeological site where in 1600 BC the settlement was well-preserved in ash, providing an excellent glimpse at a time long past. Watch a famous sunset from Oia and then dine on your own, returning to the ship before 11 pm as we’ll be sailing overnight to Milos.
This morning you’ll find yourself in Milos, known for its volcanic landscape and spectacular beaches as well as being the island where the Venus de Milo statue was discovered. If you’d like to visit its most famous beach, Sarakiniko, with smooth, white volcanic rock that looks like a moonscape contrasting magnificently against the turquoise sea, join our optional excursion. You’ll also explore the Geological Mining Museum which is focused on Milos’ mining history. Enjoy lunch on your own, returning to the ship by 4 pm for departure to Kimolos. Dinner will be hosted on board, with the evening free for exploring Kimolos independently.
Reaching Serifos in mid-morning, an optional excursion will bring you to explore the town. Perched on the slopes of a hill it offers a remarkable view of the surrounding sea while whitewashed cubist homes and buildings tumble down the mountainside. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch independently at one of the many traditional tavernas or seaside eateries at Livadakia Beach. Once everyone is back on board, we’ll sail to Kythnos, with the final swim stop of our trip enjoyed en route. Anchoring in one of the picturesque bays, this is where our farewell dinner with entertainment will be hosted.
We won’t have far to go, with Kea the only island between Kythnos and the port of Lavrio, which we’ll reach early in the morning. Your last breakfast will be served on board and you’ll have time to say your farewells to the crew and your fellow passengers, perhaps exchanging contact information with those who’ve become friends. Disembarkation is by 10 am and from here you might extend your trip to spend time in Athens, head to the airport to embark on further travels, or catch your flight home. If you need assistance with arrangements, our travel experts will be happy to help.
Big thank you to the team at Cruise Croatia for putting us on such a beautiful cat and along with skipper Ivan. We loved the Kornati islands, swimming off the back of the boat and getting away from the hussle and bustle in Split

Highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking to explore the beautiful Dalmatian coast. We met some really amazing people on board and despite some very wet October weather, we enjoyed the cruise and made some new friends.
