Discover the divine Dalmatian coast on this 7-night Dubrovnik return yacht cruise on the gorgeous Phoenix 72 yacht, one of the most sought after yachts in the Adriatic. On board you will enjoy delicious cuisine, a superb selection of excursions, an itinerary which includes a perfect balance of discovery with daily swim stops in secluded bays. Enjoy seeing top destinations like Dubrovnik, Hvar and Split with lesser known destinations including Bol, Trogir and Korcula.
A brand new ship for 2021, the MS Phoenix provides impeccable standards and all the latest up-to-date facilities for its 36 guests to enjoy. The 18 cabins have all been fitted with modern amenities and comfortable, pleasing surroundings. MS Phoenix also has a salon-style restaurant and bar that can be found on the upper deck, where the sundeck houses a jacuzzi and sunbeds to relax on.
You will be met by your driver and transferred to Gruz Harbour where you will board your ship, check in is from 1400hrs. You can relax in your luxury cabin before joining a guided tour of the UNESCO listed Old Town of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik has an abundance of ancient historical buildings that date back to the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. After admiring the classic Renaissance architecture you will return to the boat and enjoy the evening with a three course welcome dinner and speech from the crew where they will go through the plan for your week on board.
This morning we set off from Dubrovnik and make our way for a scenic sail around the magnificent Dubrovnik city walls, before we sail up the coast towards the Island of Korcula. On route, we will stop for a refreshing swim stop in a secluded bay, where guests will have the opportunity to sample the wide selection of water sports available on the yacht. Lunch will be served on board as we continue on to Korcula, docking in the mid-afternoon. This historic town is known as the birthplace of Marko Polo, one of the most famous world explorers of all time. Our English-speaking guide will take you on an expert guided tour of the Old Town explaining the history behind the town’s fishbone shape and exploring some of its charming narrow streets. You’ll have the rest of the evening free to enjoy dining at one of the local restaurants of your choice.
We set off from Korcula during breakfast and make our way to the Island of Brac. With a swim stop in a secluded bay on route, we plan to arrive into Bol after lunch. Join our cruise director for a trip to one of the most famous beaches in Europe, the Golden Horn Beach (Zlatni Rat) which is a short train ride from Bol Harbour. Enjoy some free time at the beach, before returning to Bol with the rest of the afternoon at leisure to explore the picturesque town. This evening, enjoy dinner on your own at a very good selection of local restaurants in the town of Bol.
The charming medieval town of Trogir is our next destination today. This UNESCO listed gem with its pristine marina is often compared to a mini-Venice. On arrival, we will have a fabulous trip to the stunning Krka Waterfalls National Park. Enjoy the afternoon admiring the beautiful waterfalls and lakes and stroll along pathways winding through the lush flora. with a picturesque photo stop in front of the stunning Skradinski Buk waterfall. Return to Trogir where you can explore the labyrinth of backstreets and medieval alleyways and discover the hidden gems. Enjoy dinner this evening in one of Trogir’s many traditional restaurants and konoba’s.
With a short sail from Trogir to Split today, our captain will find a secluded bay and guests will enjoy an extended swim stop with the opportunity to use the myriad of water toys available on the boat. We will arrive into Split shortly after lunch with our expert local guide ready to take you on a guided tour of Split. Discover the history behind the Diocletian Palace which makes up much of Split’s Old Town and was built for Emperor Diocletian in the 4th century AD. Our local guide will take you through the palace and its underground cellars, which featured in some of the iconic Game of Thrones series and explain the fascinating history behind this spectacular living palace. This evening, enjoy dining alfresco in a wide range of restaurants and bars, which are a short walk from the harbour.
We depart from Split whilst guests are enjoying breakfast and we make our way to Croatia’s most popular island, the gorgeous Island of Hvar. Enjoy a refreshing swim stop on route before we arrive to the town of Hvar in the afternoon. On arrival, join our Cruise Director and fellow guests to enjoy a wine tasting tour at a very sought-after family winery, followed by free time to explore the beautiful town of Hvar at your leisure. This evening you have free time to dine alfresco in one of Hvar’s world class restaurants.
Our next stop is the charming village of Slano, a peaceful traditional fishermen’s village and the entrance point to Ston, another small, fortified village that is famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts and famous Ston Walls, we will take you to an oyster farm, where you will have the opportunity to sample delicious fresh oysters and mussels. After the oyster harvesting, you will return to the boat docked in Slano for the Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment, the perfect way to finish a truly unforgettable week.
